Quanzhou Central District to invest 3 billion yuan to build Central Park
In early January this year, the “Conceptual Design of Quanzhou Jiangnan Central Park” has been collected. The first phase of Quanzhou Jiangnan Central Park is located in Fuqiao Street and Changtai Street, Licheng District, on both sides of Zhanqian Avenue and the planned Tianzhong Avenue. As the largest and most advantageous urban green space in the ecological corridor connecting Zimao Mountain Range and Jinjiang, the project is backed by Zimao Mountain in the south and Jinjiang in the north, surrounded by mountains and waters, and has obvious natural resource advantages. It is reported that Quanzhou Jiangnan Central Park will benchmark the park city construction indicators and build the largest urban central park in Jiangnan New District. The construction content includes greening projects, landscape projects, supporting construction projects, rural scenery, and overall landscape installation projects.
According to reports, the total area of Quanzhou Jiangnan Central Park is about 72.9 hectares, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan. It is planned to build four major sections, including “Licheng Secret Realm”, “Jiangnan City Center”, “Linye Tide Play” and “Menghua Citong”. Among them, “Licheng Secret Realm” will build a mine art gallery with functions such as art exhibitions and cafes, with an estimated construction area of 1,520 square meters; “Jiangnan City Center” will build a Minsheng Commercial Street with functions such as commercial shopping and food check-in, with an estimated construction area of 16,000 square meters; “Linye Chaowan” will build a seed museum with functions such as five senses experience, ecological science education, and immersive experience, with an estimated construction area of 1,500 square meters; “Menghua Citong” will build a Quanzhou Fengwu Pavilion with functions such as souvenir sales and movie watching, with an estimated construction area of 2,000 square meters, and build an urban convention and exhibition center with an estimated construction area of 9,000 square meters.
Reporters learned that in order to create a “city in the park”, three parks with an area of more than 1,000 acres are planned in the Jiangnan area. In addition to Jiangnan Central Park, Licheng Jiangnan New District also plans to build Licheng Jiangbin South Bank Park and Wushishan Park. The blessing of urban landscape resources will not only improve the living facilities of residents, but also further enhance the livability of the area, and will continue to inject strong momentum into the development of Licheng Jiangnan New District.
