Ningbo Ocean Shipping opens first Middle East liner route

The reporter learned from the Ningbo Municipal Transportation Bureau that on the morning of June 29, Ningbo Ocean Shipping’s “Xin Mingzhou 106” “新明州106”ship, fully loaded with photovoltaic, automobile, home appliances, textile and other container goods, sailed from Ningbo Zhoushan Port Meishan Port to Jebel Ali Port in the United Arab Emirates, marking the smooth opening of Ningbo Ocean Shipping’s first Middle East route and its official entry into the ranks of transoceanic container liner companies.

The biggest highlight of this route is that it flies directly from Ningbo Zhoushan Port to Jebel Ali Port without calling at other ports in the middle. A single voyage takes only 15 days, with fast timeliness, sufficient supply of containers and space, and effective guarantee of service quality.

The reporter learned that in recent years, relying on the locational advantages of its mother port Ningbo Zhoushan Port and its own dense and complete water-to-water transshipment and distribution network advantages, Ningbo Ocean Shipping has taken advantage of the capital market to increase its shipping capacity, tap into cargo sources, open up more routes, and optimize services. It has successively opened international container routes such as “Taicang-Zhapu-Ningbo-Haiphong”, “Ningbo, Zhapu-Hiroshima”, and “Ningbo-Manila”, as well as domestic trade container routes such as “Taicang-Humen”, “Tianjin-Fuqing”, and “Ningbo-Huangpu Foreign Transport Warehouse”.
