Hefei opens direct international freight routes to New York

At 6:37 on October 19, a B747-400F freighter loaded with 91 tons of outbound cargo took off from Hefei Xinqiao International Airport, marking the official opening of Hefei non-stop freighter international cargo route to New York, with a one-way full load of about 100 tons.

At present, Hefei Xinqiao International Airport regularly operates regular cargo routes to New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Incheon, Osaka, Amsterdam, Dallas, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Ezhou and other domestic and foreign destinations.

From January to September 2023, the cumulative number of regular cargo routes of Hefei Xinqiao International Airport increased by 12.9%, and the cargo load increased by 20.1%.
